Besides, the cooperation between central government, local governmental units (LGUs), private sector and Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is regarded crucial to harness the potential of public museums. However, this understanding necessitates a transformation in museums' organizational structure and mission. This book discusses these changes with a special focus on Turkish public museums.
